I apologize if I offended anyone in any way. I think it is a good idea to have the posting below removed. The statement about me stating my husband's profession after you saying I was being challenged regarding DS was very rude. I have mentioned my husband's profession on here before to someone named Dana on here. Whether you choose to believe it or not, my husband is a geneticist and nuclear medicine radiologist and works in many other fields. He is actually working on cancer reseach at the moment and a gene for Parkinson's Disease. I do trust the information he has provided me as he is very well-known for his achievements. I am sorry if the information I provided is different from the research you have done and from the doctors you have spoken too. To all of you who do have children with DS, I am sorry, and please follow the advice of your own physicians. I will no longer be posting as I should not really be posting newly discovered research in the first place as it could get be into trouble. Again, I apologize and did not mean to frighten anyone in anyway. The message I was trying to get across to people is to be more cautious before deciding on medication.
