My daughter would only sleep in her car seat until she was about a year old. We asked our doctor and he said it was perfectly ok. He said ther are some kids that do it until they are up to two years old.

I suggest trying any of the other posters suggestions but not to get frustrated if they don't work just know that it is really okay. My daughter is perfectly healthy at 16 months and is now in a toddler bed-so you won't have to find a way to build the worlds biggest infant carrier :)
