You may want to read Secrets of the Baby Whisperer. (I swear I don't get a cut for recommending it like 10 times on this website!) It's great. My advice is to put her in her crib, pick her up when she cries, comfort her, put her back down, and repeat til she's exhausted and falls asleep. But don't try to rock her or nurse her to sleep, then put her in her crib cause she'll be VERY upset when she wakes. It may take an exhausted couple of nights, but she'll probably be sleeping fine in it soon. Just make sure she knows at first that you're there for her so it's not traumatic. But also, be consistent. If you finally cave in and rock her to sleep or put her in her car seat, or bring her to your bed, you'll have to start from scratch.
