I agree, I have never heard anything about juice before 6 months. My daughter has a dietician because she doesn't eat solids well. Has to do with swallowing. She helps us make sure the baby is getting enough calories. She said ALL daily requirements, both caloric and fluid, are met by formula and breastfeeding for the first year. Everything else that the baby eats out of interest should be considered a bonus. She said too many parents stress about how much their infants are eating. Anyways, back to the juice. It is really just empty calories. Getting kids interested in water to quench their thirst is a better idea, I think.
