Unless he is having troubles with weight gain, you can probably wait for him to wake on his own to eat. When he goes to bed is at your discression as to when you want him to wake up. I like my son to wake between 8 and 9 so that means bedtime between 9 and 10. He is 3 1/2 months old. He usually makes it to 5 or 6 before a bottle, and then back to bed for a couple of more hours. I have him on a schedule for my convenience because I also have a 14 month old that wakes at 7:30 or 8. It gives me time to get her breakfast, and a bum change before he is up.
