Hi all, I have a 7 week old son. It seems like I am still nursing him all the time. In fact, I have been keeping track over the last week and it is about 10 times daily. He weighed 8.3 lbs at birth and at his 5 week checkup, he was already 11.5 pounds. Dh and and try everything to stretch out the lenghth of time between feedings and very rarely it can be as long as 4hours but more commonly 2 and a half. Is it normal to still be nursing him this much? Also, he is a wakeful baby. He never sleeps more than 3 hours at a time. Thanks for reading.
