My son was 5 months on the 7th. I have often said if he was the first I wouldn't have had anymore. He has been very demanding since birth (my first one wasn't), literally screaming if he was not held. He spent the first 8 weeks of life sleeping on my chest (something I did not do the first time). He is just now beginning to entertain himself for extended periods of time. He now cries when he is tired, hungry, or just wants to be held, and is much more pleasant.
