isn't it amazing how a baby changes the way you look at a person. i have had a similar experience with my husband. he does help out with our baby, but usually has to be asked. he forgets that there is another person to think about and will happily look after himself and watch me run around sorting out baby and me. try writing down everything you do for baby during the day. this may help him realise just how much you do. also try getting him to look after himslef. don't do his laundry or cook his dinner. look after yourself and your baby and maybe he'll get to appreciate just how busy you are when he runs out of clothes. you are going to need his help a lot more when you go back to work. maybe you could go out for a couple of hours and leave baby behind with him so that he gets to spend quality daddy time. males just don't realise how much life changes with a bub, and remain caught up in their own little worlds. best of luck to you. stay strong.
