Hi everyone-
I'm new to this site, I posted the message about the Neocate. I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to keep cats if your child is allergic. Is there anything to do so he isn't miserable (besides giving them away)? Of course he comes first, but I have two cats and they are the most loving pets, but if they have to go then they have to go. We are the only owners they know. The doctor says that children with protein intolerance are more prone to allergies and believes his chronic runny nose and coughing, which are leading to ear infections and an episode of croup, may be an allergic reaction to the cats. Any ideas?
