If your child seems uncomfortable, don't let your pediatrician brush you off. I have gotten many brush offs on issues that were important enough to warrant attention. Alexandra also was gaining weight. But she was NOT comfortable - she was, in fact, protein intollerant. And misserable. I had to push and push and educate myself and push some more. Good Luck!
