: My little one used to cry sometimes in her sleep. We dubbed it the "phantom cry" - it wasn't often and didn't last long when it happened. Every once in awhile it still happens, I find it is usually after a long day - too much excitement.

Same here. The phantom cry is a good name for it. I have a Thomas too, 4 1/2 months old. He still wakes 2 or 3 times and all he needs is his soother and a sssshhhh. Change and excitement do up the frequenct also, ie. a sleepover at Auntie's house. I too think we are starting to teeth, and and am wondering how we are going to do with it. Good luck.
