: : I've been reading up on baby acne and the only treatment available is to wash her face and wait a couple of months. I would like to know if there is something else I could do. Her acne looks really bad, I've never seen a baby with acne like this. Is this normal? : Very normal. My daughter who is now two was born in May.....VERY BAD acne. My son, who will be one was born in November, he got it but not as bad. Wash face using a mild soap..like Dove for sensitive skin and if you just cant stand it, a teenie teenie bit of hydrocortozone cream should do the trick (per my pediatrician, and it worked) Good Luck. OK, here's a new one. My son, who is now 7 mos. old has blackheads. Yes, blackheads, infected pores on his face that he has had for at least 2 months now. They do not go away. He also had typical baby acne as an infant, and still gets pimples, but the blackheads are driving me nuts. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would the Trimcinolone cream work for this?
