no naps

I am looking for help for my friend. Her 6 month old does not take any naps during the day. At bedtime he is hard to put down and requires that your rock him to sleep (around 9pm). He then awakens aroung 4 or 5 every morning! She and her husband are exhausted and desperate for some sleep
