I know at least two people that named their daughters MacKenzie. I dont think it sounds masculine at all. People tell me all the time that I did an injustice to my kids by naming them Paige (girl) and Julian (boy) because Paige sounds to masculine (Page) and Julian sounds to feminine (Jules,Julia)....just IGNORE them. Our kids were named their names for certain reasons, I say if you like it, thats all that matters!!!

: Hello,I am new to this site and am looking for some help. I named my youngest
: daughter Mackenzie and now I worry about is being to common and masculine. Tell
: me I'm being over zealous. Everyone I meet says 'Just don't call her Mac' but I really
: find it to suit her.My older daughters call her "Mackie" and it sounds so cute coming
: from them. Thanks for listening to me vent. Take care.Bye for now!!
