Not at all! I know several women and children named MacKenzie. I think it's a great name. Personally, I think it's much more feminine than masculine. I'm 8 months pregnant right now and if it's a girl, I like Madison or Morgan. Both are unisex. Most names that are popular now are unisex. Ignore what people say. The name is adorable. As far as being common - at least she won't have to explain to people how to spell her name :) My one-year old daughter was almost named Siobhan (Irish pronounced Shi-vahn) but we knew she'd spend her whole life explaining how to spell/pronounce it.
