I'm no doctor, but I can't imagine why labor would be harder with a boy. The only possible correlation that comes to mind is that *on average*, boys are bigger than girls (not always, obviously...just the national average), and bigger babies may be perceived to be harder labors.

However, I do know my mom had 4-hour labors with myself and my sister (which makes me jealous enough to begin with, LOL) but only a 2-hour labor with my brother. And the biggest one is my brother.

Maybe somebody else has heard of labor being harder with boys, but I have never heard of it. Let me know if you find anything out as I am about to have my 2nd boy. :)
