: Hi, I was suppose to go see my OB today, but the weather looks ugly, I would have to drive 25 miles with my kids, so I rescheduled for Thursday. What do I ask him? I mean they already told me I wouldnt know anything until she was born and they ran tests on her. What kind of tests? How would they do the surgery? Is it safe? Maybe I should ask these questions. I am kinda bugged, cause I seem to be the only one who is worried here. BF doesnt seem worried, maybe he is. My family doesnt seem worried. My mom was even hoping I would lose this baby early on. So I am alone with this, I know my mom will help me with my other 2 kids. Any help is welcome:)
Hi girl, I am so sorry you are going through this! How horrible that your mom hopes you will loose the baby, I can't imagine how you feel. Maybe they just don't see things as real as you do or they are just not saying anything because they don't know what to say. I would ask the doctor as much as you can - ask everything, what kid of treatment she will need, how severe is her condition?, is she going to be a normal baby after the operation?, how is the operation and etc... The more you ask the better you will feel about this. Also, don't look only at the dark side, maybe she will come out and it is nothing too serious! You can't assume anything until she is here and they take a close look at her. I wish you good luck and anytime you need to talk about this, just post! :)
