The heaviness of your belly doesn't usually start until later in pregnancy but it's different for everyone. Mine didn't start until week 30. I'll just get horrible cramps--even when I'm just sitting on the couch or in the car. My doctor just told me yesterday that it's just the weight strain on the back. I'm now carrying around an extra 20lbs. and it's all mostly in my belly. Hope this helps...
