: Hello! I am going to be 34 wks on Thurs (says my doc but I think 38--that's a whole different story though) and was hospitalized last week for preterm labor. I've been having Braxton Hicks for the last 10wks or so, but last wednesday they just wouldnt stop coming!! After calling my doc, they advised I should go to L&D at the hospital, and they gave me a shot to stop the contractions... I also managed to start having elevated BP readings and they took me out of work. The problem is I am just soooo stressed! I think it is mostly hormonal though, I feel kind of like PMS-ish only much much worse. I cry all the time and am worried that I may have postpartum depression afterwards. Anyone have any advice? Thanks and good luck to all! :o)
When you feel stressed go into your room pull the blinds and lay there with a fan on you and breathe in and out close your eyes and just feel the baby moving and relax and make yourself calm down thats what I do when I feel stressed.
Good luck.
