Sorry it took me so long to respond I went to eat dinner. I'm confused when you say DNA test, and I'm not being mean but do you mean a blood test to see if you're pregnant? Because if you go to the doctor now and get a blood test done to see if your pregnant, it should defintely show up if you are. Blood tests are very sensitive. If you were talking about a DNA test to determine who the father is you would have to talk to your doctor beacuse I'm not sure how early they can detect that, it might be right away and it might not be. If you do a urine test, Home preg test, wait until the day after you miss your period, EPT will detect as low as 40 MIU's of HCG, which would be present only during pregnancy. The only other ways for HCG to be present and you not be pregnant would be if you had just had a baby or you were taking certain medications containing HCG. I'm not sure what these meds are but you can find them on the web, by doing a search. If you do a home preg test the day after your missed period and its negative wait a week if you haven't started and you still feel that you could be pregnant take another test. Do you have a obgyn or a family doctor you normally see becuase you can call that clinic and ask to speak to a nurse and she can answer some of your questions?
