Hi! When I was 18 I was diagnosed with PCOS because I would skip periods all the time. I went on the pill (when I was 20) to regulate my periods and didn't really use it to protect myself against pregnancy because the DRs said I'd have a difficult time conceiving without assistance. Shortly thereafter, I became sexually active (with my husband) and when I was 21, I got pregnant. I sometimes wonder if I took the pill enough to regulate myself - not enough to prevent pregnancy and it balanced me out enough so that I was able to get pregnant.
