Jamie, I'm only on for 2 seconds and I didn't read anyone else's reply yet, but TELL YOUR DOCTOR. It could be just normal ligament pain, and I don't want to be an alarmist nor tell you to be one with your doctor, BUT, sometimes pelvic pain is SPD. This is a condition where the front bones of the pelvis separate farther than is usual for pregnancy. If your doctor says it's nothing to worry about, still please take precautions. PLEASE. DON'T lift anything you don't have to...and if you do need to lift something, lift from your legs/thighs. Don't twist around too fast; don't sit cross-legged. Be careful and gentle with your bones and body right now.
I have SPD from a fast birth of a big baby and it took me two days to even be able to walk with a walker. All my docs always laughed off my pain. Now my doc says he's never seen such a wide separation as mine and I'm still not able to sleep lying down...I have to sleep sitting up in a chair. I just went down my cellar steps yesterday for the first time since the birth (a week later) and I wanted to drink champagne to celebrate. I mean this sh*t is BAD. It's serious. So...I don't want to scare you b/c it could be absolutely nothing but ligament pain, but why chance it? Be very very gentle & careful with your body right now.
Feel good,
Mels
