Working with your kid, but not at home?

I am wondering if any of you can bring your kid to work with you... What do you do and is the pay decent? I am 8 weeks and tryng to come up with a way to bring my kid to work with me, whatever I plan to do after birth becaus I can't afford daycare and rent. Any ideas?
