: : Hi everyone! I need you insight. My hubby and I have been TTC for 4 years. We have tried in vitro, artificial insemination, etc. Well, about 3 weeks ago, I realized I had not had a period in a while. I don't usually keep track of my periods, but I have them monthly. I think the last time I had a period was in May. I asked my husband if he remembered, but he didn't either. So, of course, I started to get excited. About 1.5 weeks ago, as I wiped after peeing, I noticed a lot of mucus with some brown in it. This happened 2 times. I have also been having so dull aches/cramps in my lower abdomen, not really like my regular period cramps. And I have noticed blue veins in my breasts. Well, I bought some pregnancy tests. I took one after I got home from the store, and there were no lines. I drank a big glass of water, waited 45 minutes, and there was a very faint control line. So now I'm thinking, maybe these tests are defective. This morning, I took another one. I waited about 1.5 minutes, looked in the windows, and could not see anything. I jumped in the shower and about 10 minutes later, came out and saw 2 lines, the pregnancy line being very faint. What should I do? WHat do you think this means? Please share you wisdom.

: : alot of the test i have heard of need concentrated urine....so either first morning urine or not peeing for 4-5 hours and then testing.....it all depends on the sensitivity of the test.....if you have another one...read the instructions carefully and test again in the morning.....usually the tell you to interpret the results after but no more than 5 minutes.....i wish you the best of luck and i hope this helps some :)
All of the tests say results are invalid after ten minutes. But if the control line isn't showing up very good, mabey you should get some new tests. Good luck!!!! *~*~*~*~Baby Dust~*~*~*~*
