Hi, Wendy...I'm doing very well! Last night for the first time I was able to lie down to sleep, rather than sitting up. I slept like a baby between feedings for Colin. I must have slept a full 8 hours altogether. So now I feel great. I've been working on my book all morning. I'm trying to write little snippets related to having a baby while the emotions and feelings are still fresh in my mind (the heroine in the book has a baby). So I'm doing it in bits and pieces.
Colin naps so well that I'm able to do this. I am so grateful for that. When he's up, he's very alert and adorable and curious about everything around him.
I still have pain but I can feel it getting better every single day. I'm starting to take short "walks" around my yard. I am hoping that by next week, I will be able to take Colin for a walk in his stroller. Luckily, it's not too tempting to walk right now as it is rainy and drippy.
So how was babysitting? Did you enjoy it? Three months is such an adorable age b/c they're responding & smiling. You're right...great practice for you!
