MY dr said I should have one because I am 36 and will be 37 next month. I am NOT going to have this test - so far the only reason they have given me is that I have hit that magical number... I have no other risk factors that i know of.....besides, what is the test going to do?? make you worry like hell if something is wrong?? It wont change anything so I am chosing not to have the test...
