Ashley, I know that you love your babies and want the best for them. If things get to be too much, I want you to know that adoption is still an option for you. There are many wonderful families waiting and praying for the gift of children, and if you should consider adoption, you can choose the family and choose if you would like to have continued contact with that family and receive updates on your babies. This is just a thought, hon. I know that this is a lot of responsibility for you at 14.
If you are sure you want to parent your boys, then I recommend that you join a mom's support group. Some cities have support groups for teen moms. Just being able to talk to other moms in similar situations could be a big help for you, and you will receive good advice on parenting, too. All you need to do is call a crisis pregnancy center or pregnancy care center near you, and ask them about support groups for teen moms. Look in the Yellow Pages under "Abortion Alternatives," or go to www.pregnancycenters.org to find a center near you.
Finally, I would recommend that you begin a relationship with God if you have not already. You can have a relationship with God through His Son Jesus, who died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. Jesus then rose from the dead and lives today! : Hey, I'm Ashley and I'm 14 years old..My babies are 8 days old today.. They were born on July 3,2003 at 7:32 am.. My baby boy Jaden Christopher weighed 6lbs 11 onces and was 19 in.long. and his brother Philip David weighed 7lbs 12 onces and was 21 in. long. We all just got home from the hospital yesterday and things are going good so far hehe... My parents are very upset that I kept them.They wont help me at all. My boyfriend and his mom stayed over last night to help me but I'm on my own tonight. when I found out I was pregnant I was so scared and my parents wouldn't talk or even look at me for the first few weeks, then I found out I was having twins and I about died.. I didn't think I could take care of 2 babies on my own and I still don't think I can..I'm lucky enough and still be with there dad and him and his mom are doing the best they can to help me out so I think I'll be okay...I don't really have many people to talk to so I thought I would come on here and talk to people who understand where I'm coming from.
