Thanks for your response! I had to check with those of you who have experienced them because my friend was having "real" contractions and she felt absolutely nothing. No pain, no strain--nothing. But sure enough, the doctors hooked her up to the machines and they were true labor contractions. They put her on the meds to stop them in her 7th month and she's been on them ever since. They'll take her off after she hits week 37 and just let nature take its course. Thanks!
