I have a friend that has 3 kids and 2 of them were home births, but her first was easy and had no prolbems but she didn't have a midwife her mother delivered hers but she is an RN. but for someone like me, both of my labors started at 4 in the mouring, with my water breaking had to be indused and my first child has a breakeo plyxes, from a bad midwife. my second child had his cord around his neck tied in a true knot! So for someone like me that really wouldn't work. but it is also nice to have a nurse around night and day while your in the hospital to help you with everything you need.
