I asked my OB if I could go pick up my mother in San Francisco (she arrives from the UK in 4 weeks)and he said he doesn't want anyone to travel after 35 weeks. My Dh was going to go and pick her up but he is now scared of leaving me and decided to get her a ticket here - (to OR). OB also said, 70% of babies are born on the week of their due date, but 10% are born ealier or later. So DH didn't want to risk, go and miss the birth if I make the 10%.
