Anytime you have sex, protected or not, you have a chance of being pregnant. My best advice to you would be just wait and see if your period comes. If it's a week late, take a test. But try not to stress, because that can delay your period. I was scared to tell my parents, too but believe or not they were there for me and I'm sure your parents love you just as much so hopefully they will be there for you, too.
