My baby did exactly the same thing. I do not know if your baby has any other symptoms like gas, abdominal pain, bloody or mucuousy stools? If your baby does it could be a sign of milk allergy or protein intolerance.
My baby has been diagnosed with that and is on a special formula. However, at 4 months she refused to eat again after about 1 or 2oz and I could tell that she was in pain (arched her back, stretched her arms and screamed). She also started to loose weight. We went to see a GI specialist who diagnosed her with severe reflux as well(my baby was vomiting a lot). I do not know if yours is but even if she doesn't it could be "silent" reflux and she would still suffer from the pain and burning in the esophageal lining. My baby is on Zantac (3ml a day - highest dose you can give to a 4 months old infant). But do not get discouraged - I had to wait a good 10 days before I saw a change. Remember that it takes time for her little body to heal. If the symptoms persist, seeing a GI specialist might be the next step.
Good luck! I know it is hard but stay strong for your baby and know that things will be better. Let us know how your baby is doing.
