: Hello,

: Well I am really tired this morning because several time in the night, my son, Alex, started to cry. When I went in to check on him he had flipped onto his belly. He would not or could not flip back on his own and cried until I came in to flip him back. He has done this a couple of other nights. It's soooo tiring.
: He also gets into some really weird positions in his crib as well. We always lay him in the normal position with his head facing the top of his crib and feet at the bottom. Several times we have found him with his feet at the head of the crib and feet at the bottom. Lately, he has taken to sleeping sideways in his crib with his head buried in the top righthand corner of his crib right against the bumper pad. I am afraid he will not be able to breathe and always move him back, but it's useless because he always ends up back where he was.
: Maybe I should remove the bumper pads soon. Here in Canada they are not recommended and we were told not to use them. We are using them because he moves around so much and I am afraid he will hurt his little head.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO US WHEN MY LITTLE ONE REACHED THAT STAGE.SHE EVEN HAD HER HEAD BEHIND THE PAD AT ONE POINT,ALL YOU COULD SEE WAS HER BODY.THE PAD WAS ON HER NECK.DO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? ANYWAY THAT'S WHEN WE KNEW IT WAS TIME TO REMOVE THE PADS.SHE STILL BUMPED HER HEAD AND ROLLED INTO THE SIDES.IN FACT SHE STILL DOES AND IS ALMOST A YEAR OLD. I WOULD SUGGEST REMOVING THE PADS JUST INCASE.SUCH A FUN STAGE ISNT? LOL!!!!! WOULD'NT TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING!!!! BYE!!!
