: Nicole,

: My son had this exact same rash. I know everyone was telling you that it was yeast, so I decided to stay out of it, but from the way you described it, I had a feeling it was the same thing he had. I also use Pampers, when he had the rash I changed diapers and wipes. IT WAS NOT THE DIAPERS OR WIPES. He was irritated from what he was eating. The acid level in his poop was up. Try and think about what you are giving him that is different or new and try some elimination of those foods for a few days and see what happens.

: The cream you mentioned is an antihistamine/anti-inflammatory cream.

: : Hi,

: : For everyone that had given me advice on my son's diaper rash, I went to the doctor today to have him look at it again.
: : Apparently he does not think it's a yeast rash or that it is that bad. I don't know if I totally agree with him. He thinks it's just a rash due to irritation (from what I don't know)
: : He has given me a new cream to try, so we'll see what happens. I told him if it doesn't clear in another week or so, I want a referral to a dermatologist.
: : Has anyone had a problem with Pampers diapers??? I think they are scented. They may be irritating his skin. I am going back to Huggies.
: : Also has anyone heard of a cream called Calmoseptine Ointment???

I'm not too sure. I read about it on the Internet. The website is calmoseptineointment.com
I think it contains zinc and menthol.
