: please help me. i don't know what's wrong with me. i love my 3 week old so much, but when she cries and won't stop, i find myself grinding my teeth furiously and i have to put her down to restrain from squeezing her or shaking her too hard. i think she has major gas problems. i am a first time mom, 18 yrs, and i just don't know what to do and i don't want to hurt my baby. maybe i have one of those postpardom diseases or something? what can i do? i don't want to hurt her or anything, but i have problems handling my stress and anger and frustration. any suggestions?
Call ur doctor FIRSt thing in the morning u can have wha tis called Post Partum Depression.... its treatable, as a parent you have to try tp pull urself together :) we all get frusterated whent newborns but you have to remember this little person DEPENDS on you... when she cryed try to hold her close to your chest and hum t dont matter what you hum make something up, just the sound is soothing to some newborns, try giving her a bottle, u cant really over feed a newborn tall they do is sleep and eat at this age. When she sleeps you sleep no matter what u need that to function properly.... do u have someone that can help you out, like ur mom or dad or better yet daddy?
