: OK guys, Thanks for all your help, but this is what I came up with for my wording on my invitation on DS's 1st b-day:

: A years gone by,
: how time has flown,
: we can't believe how Kalen has grown!
: He's such a joy
: and so much fun,
: OH MY! Our baby's
: turning ONE!

: I found a duck shape on the internet, and I traced it on bristal board paper, and am gonna cut it out, and put on the inside.. join us for a rubber ducky party, with date etc. Of course doing 20 invitations is gonna be rough, but my DS's worth it!! I didnt think of that poem on my own, I came across it on the internet, and thought it was kinda cute. Thanks all for all your input, I cant wait til July 7!!

Cute poem. I hope you have lots of fun on your son's first birthday party. Just a little word of caution from my own experience. If you're getting any offers of help for the party, take them. My daughter clung to me and cried most of the time on her first birthday - I had to attend to her all the time and could not even speak to half the guests.
