: We fly with our son often. He does very well and so far has never been bad on a plane, however the longest he has been in one at one time was 3 1/2 hours. You should make sure that they are sucking on something during take off and landing, this will help their ears. Bring lots of snacks and whatever they normally eat. Lots of toys of course too.

: As far as staying in hotel, are you going to use a crib the hotel provides? We used to take our pack-n-play with us but it just became to much of a pain. So we now just use hotel cribs. I would suggest if you do this that you bring some crib sheets from home to use. It smells like home and isn't scratchy like some hotel sheets can be. Our son sleeps better with his sheets and blankets from home. I just make sure I bring his favorite things from home to make him more comfortable and so far he has done great! Good luck to you, if I think of anything else I'll post again.

Angela - Thanks for your suggestions. I will be using the hotel crib. I will remember to take along my own sheets.
