: This question originally down below the boxing match so it's hard to see... sorry if you've read it already. Anyway, while I was at the drs. they came in a mumbled something about Fluoride and asked where I lived. I had to point it out on a map. Then I heard them in the hall saying, where does she live, oh give the blah, blah, dosage. I assume it's something they gave with his shots. To note: We have a well and very few people down here have city sewer or water, so DS probably does need a supplement. I just went on the internet and looked around and now I am more confused than ever. It's mentioned with immunizations but they said something about drops. Was I supposed to get an RX for drops? The doctor just didn't say.

You should have received vitamin drops containing fluoride like something called Poly-Vi-Flor. This is helpful in preventing cavities in children. A child should be on this until they are 5 years old when they are able to brush their teeth effectively.
