: I'm wondering if my son's schedule is weird. He's still nursing between every hour and a half and two hours. He's sleeping through the night now so I'm wondering if he's trying to catch up. I'm sure my milk supply is down so I supplement sometimes and even after nursing whatever I have and having 6oz of formula he will still want to eat again in a couple of hours. We've also introduced solids for dinner time, he loves it but it doesn't seem to affect his appetite. His weight seems normal and he's wonderfully healthy. Should I just stop worrying about it?

It is possible that your baby is nursing for short periods of time at each session and is therefore hungry more often. Some babies are just more hungry than others. I wouldn't worry too much. My baby on the other hand is not a very hungry baby. He goes longer than three hours between nursings and I always worry how he gets by with such little food. As long as he is happy and healthy, I wouldn't worry about it.
