: I'm wondering if my son's schedule is weird. He's still nursing between every hour and a half and two hours. He's sleeping through the night now so I'm wondering if he's trying to catch up. I'm sure my milk supply is down so I supplement sometimes and even after nursing whatever I have and having 6oz of formula he will still want to eat again in a couple of hours. We've also introduced solids for dinner time, he loves it but it doesn't seem to affect his appetite. His weight seems normal and he's wonderfully healthy. Should I just stop worrying about it?

I have a 6 mnth old son, who eats like a horse. I was under the impression that at his age he could go 3-4 hours with out eating. But he's still hungry every two hours. He's been on formula since he was a month old and eats solids 3 times a day. But he's hungry every two hours like clock work. He does go 10-11 hours at night with out a bottle. So I'll feed him as much as he wants during the day as long as he sleeps through the night. I think some babies are just hungrier than others. My son is growing like a weed. He grows 1 1/2inches every month so I think his body needs the extra food to keep up. I wouldn't worry about it to much.
