: How long does a bottle stay sterilized? We are travelling soon. Considering that we will be out most of the time, can I sterilize my bottles in the morning and carry them with me through the day?

Marie, I have been all over the internet trying to find an answer to your question. I have looked at every where I even wound up at a Canadian health site. All I can find is directions about how to sterilize bottles. Here's my opinion, which that and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee as my Mom would say...
If you sterilize them and put the nipples and the caps back on. They should be sterile until the cap is removed and the nipple is again exposed. Same with the insides. If you clean them and then carry them around as long as your hands are clean when you prepare his milk it should be fine. Maybe Elizabeth could help she seems knowledgable. Sorry I couldn't help more.
