: Hi Elizabeth,

: Thanks for responding. When he wakes, I feed him formula or sometimes I nurse if I'm too lazy to make a bottle. He never drinks more than 4 oz of formula especially at night. Even during the day he will very very rarely have 6 oz. I could try pushing his dinner time, but it will be difficult. He gets a bottle at about 3, so I'll have to give him something in between to keep him from starving until 8.

You're very welcome. It wouldn't hurt to try. After his 3 o'clock bottle, you could give him some healthy snacks like fruits cut up (I assume he is on solids too like finger foods) until it is about 8 and, before you feed him just make sure he already had his bath, etc., and completely ready for bed so all you need to do is put him to bed after you brush his teeth.

I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully, this will work. If this doesn't work, it won't hurt to try something else. Every baby is so different that sometimes one just has to keep trying different things until that one thing works for that particular baby.
