: Your baby is of the age when this begins. My 9.5 month old started this behaviour a few weeks ago. It is when they begin to realize they are a separate entity from you. Not sure how long it lasts tho.

I never thought of it being Seperation anxiety. That makes perfect sense. She has noticed lately when I drop her off at my mom's or his mom's for them to babysit. As long as they are playing with her or feeding her or something she's fine but if she literally sees us leaves she starts crying! This breaks my heart because I'm about to start a new job and will have to leave her with a babysitter she may not know too well for a few hours a day. I don't want to leave her and she think I"m abondoning her! What should I do??
She will entertain herself all day but I like to play with her too to show her I love her and give her some attention. She hasn't gotten bad that when I walk out of the room she cries yet. (Thank God) I hope this goes away soon because I feel so bad that I have to leave her at a time she's most attatched to me :( OMG I'm really about to cry!
