I think it is perfectly fine to leave her in bed until you are ready to get up at 6-6:30. As long as you are consistant with she. I do the same thing with my son. It did take him a week of fussing every morning until we went to get him. However now if he wakes up early he just talks to himself or goes back to sleep! I did decide to not allow toys in his crib. I just didn't want my son to think it was a play area but rather a sleep area My husband wanted to give him toys so we compromised. We bought a Fisher Price aquarium that hangs on the side of the crib. He can't really play with it, but if he does wake up he hits the button and it plays music for him. Sometimes the music puts him back to sleep and other times you can hear him humming along in his own little way! We also play it for him whenever we put him to bed now, it's part of his routine.

So I think Hannah will do just fine being made to stay in bed a little longer, it just might take time, like everything else as you know so well by now!!
