I say if it works for your son then go with it. My daughter has no kind of schedule. She usually has many, many bottles throught the day whenever she wants. She is slowly getting over a phase where she wouldn't eat baby food or table food. I give table food at breakfast, lunch, and supper times. I also try any baby food I have left-not going to waste money on something she won't eat. I have people telling me how to feed her, and question WHY don't I allow her to eat certain things, ie: milk products. I do the same thing and nod. Now my statement is 'I know, my daughter is deprived and I'm a mean mommy, oh well'. I don't listen to ANYONE. I tell my husband they raised their children how they wanted and this is my child and it's my way or the highway.lol My daughter is 10 months, plus was a preemie so we have done things a little slower and some people just don't understand. My major is Early Childhood Education so they all say, oh she's learned all the new stuff on children and has to follow the books. It gets annoying. I just do what's right for my child. Sorry I went on and on, it's a touchy subject for me. Just do what you think is best for your son and don't worry what others think.
