: OK, my 7 1/2mos. old still wakes around 1-2am. every single night for a bottle. IS THIS NORMAL? Should I still be giving in and giving her a bottle every night like this? I cant figure out if she really needs it or if it is just habbit for her.
: Does or has anyone had this with there older babies like this? If so what was the cure?

: Also, her belly is growling when I'm changing her diaper before she eats in the a.m., So I'm kind of assuming she is very hungry.
It could be habit. Every thing I have read has said that babies that age should be able to go all night without a feeding. Charlie is finally sleeping all night without waking, if he does he just gets a binky and he usually goes back to sleep. He gets a bottle before bed around 7 and gets up about 6:30. When he gets up though, he's very hungry and needs to eat immediately even before he gets his diaper changed. I have heard a few different ways to wean babies from their night feeding. Either give water or gradually decrease the amount you feed her and eventually she'll realize that it's not worth getting up for. Good luck, I bet you can't wait to sleep all night!!!
