Hi Jeannie,

I think the best decision is one that you can make with you and your husband and with the help of your health care provider. Having said that my personal favorite is the low dosage birth control pill. I had a friend a few years back who had major complications with the iud that resulted in her being unable to have children. I also have had quite a few friends who have chosen to go with the depo shot after childbirth and have had no adverse side affects at all. In fact they swear by it and absolutely love it. The reason why I did not go with the shot was that one of the side effects was not getting your menstrual cycle and I wasn't too comfortable with this albeit most woman love this side effect.. lol So, my vote is the low dosage birth control pill. It has been great, no side effects, no weight gain, and totally problem free. Hope that helps a little.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and birth. Take care
