: We have central air in our home. Some days are so humid that I am just soo uncomfortable that I have to have the air on. And it does run in my daughter's nursery. Should I block her vent?? I dress her in a sleeper(although to go outside in it she would be way to hot)I have it at 70*. too cold ?? Any thoughts?? she is 3 weeks old. It does not seem to bother her, but my family thinks it may be too cold while she sleeps.

I am the same way... it is always cold in my house. I think babies adjust quickly. However I do recommend keeping her covered. Check her skin (cheeks, hands) and be sure they don't feel cold to the touch. That is the best way to test! Don't worry about what others think, a lot said the same to me. But I have noticed when it is warmer my son sweats a lot now! Good luck!
