Hi Gemma, read your post below. Please see a doctor immediatly! About 5 years ago my left nipple was bleeding when I squeezed it. My doctor sent me to have a mammogram immediatly, in Canada there are quite long waiting lists to have these done and she had me go in that same day. Nothing showed on the mammogram so I had to have a galactogram (sp) this ended up showing 8 tiny lumps in my milk ducts. I had them taken out and biopsied and thank the lord above they were benign, however, the specialist I saw who deals with all sorts of problems with the breast including cancers, said that in some cases they can be the early stages of cancers and in a handful they turn out to be nothing. Blood coming from the nipple is very serious and should be looked into immediatly. I really don't mean to scare you but I want to stress that it is very very important for you to see a doctor right away.
