: Ok, It's been 3 1/2 years since I had a baby! My DD is now 5 months old. Her dr okayed baby food and ceral already. We have done all of the stage 1 foods and are now progressing into stage 2 (mainly at dinner). My question she normally eats a bottle (6oz when she wakes up), a stage 1 jar of fruit and a bowl of ceral at her next feeding (usually around 10-11 am) a bottle every 3 - 3 1/2 hours until dinner where she will eat a stage 2 jar of either veggie or chicken& rice dinner or something similar and a 6oz bottle. Is this an ok feeding schedule??? I can't for the life of me remember how I did with my first DD. Please advise! Thanks in advance!!

That sounds like a good feeding schedule. The feeding schedule I used was breakfast, 6 ounces of formula, cereal, and half a jar of fruit; lunch, 4 ounces of formula, half a jar of a vegetable and half a jar of a fruit; dinner, 4 ounces of formula, half a jar of fruit and half a jar of a vegetable or chicken and rice or anything that sounds like a dinner that is healthy; bedtime, the same as breakfast.
